AI teleprompter for live calls · macOS 26

Never freeze on a question again.

Impro sits under your camera, listens to the call, and writes what to say — in your words, from your facts — while the other person is still talking. Invisible to screen share.

7-day free trial on yearly plans · from $14/month · cancel anytime

How it works

Three minutes before the call. Zero effort during.

1

Brief it

Who you are, who's on the other side, what you want. Paste your notes or résumé. Two minutes, once — then just type the topic before each call.

2

Start the call

Impro hears both sides on your Mac and transcribes on-device. Nothing is recorded, nothing joins the meeting, nothing shows in screen share.

3

Read, or improvise

When they ask, your lines appear under the camera. Read the first sentence to be safe, then be yourself. Switch direction with one key.

Features

Built for the moment you'd normally stall.

Karaoke lines

Words light up as you say them. Your eyes never lose the place, even if you paraphrase.

Three ways to answer

With every reply: three 2–5-word directions, one of them a question to ask back. ⌥1 ⌥2 ⌥3 switches mid-sentence — what you already said stays.

Keywords mode

Only the load-bearing words are lit. Skim them and improvise the rest. Nobody hears you reading.

Hears both sides

Your mic plus the call audio, even with headphones. Transcribed on your Mac by Apple's speech models.

Any language

30+ languages on-device. Answer in the caller's language or always in yours — your call.

Invisible & private

Never appears in screen share or recordings. No audio stored. Only the last few minutes of transcript go to the model; we never keep the text.

Who it's for

For people who know the answer but not the words.

Interviewing in your second language

You understand the question. The phrasing is what freezes you. Impro gives you fluent lines built from your real experience.

Founders pitching

Investor questions come fast and sideways. Get the number, the story and the bridge before the silence gets awkward.

Sales & customer calls

Objections, pricing, the competitor question. Your playbook, said naturally, at the moment it matters.

Anyone who blanks under pressure

Panels, reviews, hard conversations. A first sentence you can always say buys the rest of your brain time.

FAQ

Fair questions.

The lines sit directly under your camera, so your eyes stay where they'd be anyway. Keywords mode lets you skim instead of read. Short answers are the default for the same reason.

It's your facts, your briefing, your voice — Impro just finds the words faster than nerves do. Use it the way you'd use notes on the desk. For exams or assessments, check the rules first.

Audio never does. Speech is transcribed on-device by Apple's models. Only the last few minutes of transcript and your briefing go to our server, which asks Claude to write the lines. We keep a count of replies and tokens, never the text.

Yes. Impro captures the call audio directly from macOS, so it hears the other side even when nothing comes out of the speakers.

30+ on-device for English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and more; Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi and others through Apple's cloud recogniser. Lines can be in the caller's language or yours.

After checkout you get an email with a key (IMPR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). Enter it in Impro with the email you subscribed with. It works on 2 Macs; you can unlink one anytime. Cancel in one click from Manage subscription — you keep access until the period ends.

Every reply costs us real model time, so a trial needs a card behind it. Yearly gets 7 free days with 60 replies — enough for two or three real calls. Cancel before day 7 and nothing is charged. Monthly starts right away.

Impro tells you at 80 %, switches off the hover previews at 90 %, and stops at 100 % until the next monthly window — or the moment you upgrade.

macOS 26 or later, Apple Silicon. Any app that plays audio: Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, FaceTime, Slack huddles. No bots, no plug-ins.

Your next hard question is already on the calendar.
